Thank you – not just for the comment but also for visiting my blog often. Sometimes, we tend to focus on our posts so much that we fail to move beyond that. Taking a cue from people like you, I venture out into others’ blogging worlds much more now.
Thank you so much. I too love sharing things with my daughter. The sense of wonder is one of the beautiful gifts of childhood – and something that I wish was preserved for longer. Do give your son a hug on my behalf.
I have been trying to replicate this shot but, haven’t managed to get this close ever since. I guess good photography, apart from skill, is also a product of being at the right place at the right time. :-). Also, thanks for a keeping your comment a simple appreciation. I get quite a few where the commenter is just trying to promote himself or herself. 🙁

Nice shot! Seems like the bird was in low light area due to density of leaves…. was it so? 🙂
Yup. It is my favorite bird and have tried many shots since this one. This remains my best so far.
wonderful! Its my favorite bird after the green bee eater 🙂
Timing and luck! Amazing capture!
Amazing capture. Kingfisher is one of my favourite birds 🙂
Thanks for the compliment. Yup – in my opinion, it is second only to the peacock. Love the blue!
