Selling by the roadside

I was on my way to Kanpur from Lucknow and we stopped to buy watermelon. Featured here is a muskmelon vendor selling his wares on a bridge over the Ganges. The background with hutments lining the banks and buffaloes grazing on the nearly  dry river bed almost  seemed painted.
